    O Telescópio Espacial Hubble,, faz aniversário. O instrumento completa 25 anos vasculhando o Universo. Ele está  a 550 quilômetros da Terra, é responsável por enormes avanços da ciência e também por captar imagens fantásticas. Enxergar mais longe do que jamais se enxergou, com imagens feitas a partir do espaço, e não da Terra. Muito acima da atmosfera, que atrapalha os telescópios comuns. Fornecer imagens com uma nitidez nunca alcançada. Não eram poucas as promessas em torno do Telescópio Hubble, o instrumento mais avançado da história da astronomia.O planejamento e a construção levaram mais de 20 anos. O projeto enfrentou reviravoltas políticas, cortes de orçamento e atrasos causados por tragédias. Até que, no dia 24 de abril de 1990, chegou o grande momento. O Hubble foi deixado pelo Discovery no ponto preciso, e entrou na órbita da Terra.
